Charles "Bud" Bohm, 83, of North Syracuse, died on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was a 1951 graduate of Syracuse University and served in Newfoundland with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Employed by Rockwell International until their closing, he retired as manufacturer's representative for Duff Norton Industries.
Mr. Bohm was a member of the Cavalry Club, Liverpool Syracuse Lodge, No. 501 F&AM and Tigris Temple Shrine. He was a master gun instructor and a NYS Hunter Safety Instructor. Since 1946, he had summered on Sandy Pond.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Joan Baldwin, in 1979 and by his sister, Babe Witmeyer.
Surviving are his sons, Roger C. (Teresa) Bohm of Roanoke, VA and Christopher C. (Linda) Bohm of North Syracuse; long time companion, Helen Bishop; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Fergerson Funeral Home, North Syracuse, with burial in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, with military honors.
