Nancy Duncan Resch, a resident of the North Syracuse area most of her life, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was a long time General Electric employee, working in quality control. She retired from WalMart in 2003 to care for her loving husband, Alfred, who passed away in 2007.
Nancy was a lover of books and words with a quick wit and intellect. She enjoyed lunch with her North High Friends. In her final years, she was happiest amongst her friends at Park Rose Retirement Community.
Surviving are her four children, Terri Resch, of North Syracuse, Tracey (Tim) Perkins, of West Monroe, Tami (Joel Cuellar) Resch, of Jersey City and Jay (Kim) Resch, of Saratoga; grandchildren, Evangeline, Ashley, Amber, TJ, Willow, Hawk, Islay, Skye, Ariell, Chelsey and Eden.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Fergerson Funeral Home with burial following in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
