Elizabeth Wehrle

Elizabeth (Tish) Price Meyers Wehrle, 88, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2012. She had been a resident of Naples since 1970.
She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Mildred Saks and J. Reese Price, former durator of Jefferson County Historical Museum. She summered throughout her childhood at FineView, NY with her paternal grandparents. She graduated from Baldwinsville High School and Cornell University. She married John C. Meyers Jr. in 1945 and they resided for 40 years in Baldwinsville, NY as well as Thousand Island Park, NY. Following the death of her husband, Tish married Robert Wehrle, of Watertown, NY and they summered in Henderson Harbor.
She was predeceased by husbands, John C. Meyers Jr. and Robert Wehrle. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Mildred Elizabeth Meyers.
While living in Baldwinsville, Tish was a founder of the local Meals on Wheels, a member of Female Charitable Society and a former member of Grace Episcopal Church. She served on the board of directors at Morris Pumps, Inc. and was the first woman elected to the Baldwinsville School Board. Upon her move to Florida, she was a member of Trinity By The Cove Episcopal Church, Naples, Florida and Royal Poinciana
Golf Club where she was a member of the 9 Hole woman's league.
She is survived by her family: John C. Meyers, 111, and wife Jane, Mena Meyers Hansinger and husband, Rick, Kendall Wehrle Bernier and husband Jim and R. Chapman Wehrle and wife Kate, grandchildren, Jay and Julia Meyers, Sarah Hansinger Falkowski and husband Darcy, Paul and Adam Hansinger, Megan, Sara and Abby Bernier and Andrew and Rebecca Wehrle. Tish is survived by her great grand child, Violet Meyers. She is also survived by brother Windsor M. Price Sr. (Kay), sister in law, Thelma Meyers Dausman, several nieces and nephews, especially Elizabeth Price Kellogg (little ā€œEā€), and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity By the Cove Episcopal Church in Naples, Florida. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville, at the convenience of the family.
