Albert E. Tait III

Albert Edward Tait III, 54, of Boston, MA, formerly of Cazenovia, died March 7, 2012, at his home following a heart attack. He was born in Syracuse, the son of Albert E. and the late Peggy Hopkins Tait (2004). Ed was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and St. John Fisher College in Rochester, where he attained a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He worked for Hearth in Boston. An avid outdoorsman, Ed enjoyed hiking, bicycling and was a fierce advocate for environmental issues. He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and love of family.
Surviving are his father, Hon. Albert E. Tait, Jr.; his sister, Anne T. Sharkey (Dan) of Southbury, Ct.; his brothers, Brian (Katie) and Thomas C. Tait, both of Cazenovia; his nephews and nieces, Matt, Sarah, John and Catherine Sharkey, Quinn and Luke Tait; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by his cousin Rev. Edward Hopkins: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at St. James Church in Cazenovia. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
