She had a passion for helping people, serving many years in the nursing field where she gave her time and care to many. Peg also had a love for animals. She enjoyed sharing stories about the pets she owned throughout her life. Above all, Irene’s main love was the love she felt and showed for her family and friends. A very caring, selfless and loving individual, “Mom” could always be counted on to be “at the other end of the line” and was always our best friend. She has left all who knew her with countless memories of her spirit and energy, and will always be remembered for the special person that she was.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at St. James Catholic Church in Cazenovia. Burial will follow in in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be sent to Crouse Community Center, 101 South St. Morrisville, NY 13408 in remembrance of Irene Barrow.
