Floyd W. Tillotson

Floyd W. Tillotson, 87, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died from cancer Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the home of his daughter Donna in Kentucky.
Before retiring to Florida, he was a lifelong resident of the village of Liverpool proudly serving as a 2nd Lt. in the Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a four-term trustee for the village and police commissioner, prior to being elected mayor from 1977-1981. He was involved as a volunteer fireman, Boy Scout leader of Troop 65, and active in the Sea Scout Program, American Legion, Elks and Masons. He was co-owner of G&T Supply, Inc.
Pre-deceased in death by his parents, his wife Kathleen and grandson Dan, he is survived by his brother Victor (Vivian) of North Syracuse, three children, Ron of Kentucky, Dave (Sue) of Liverpool, Donna (Steve) Corbitt of Kentucky and his long time companion Linda Nance, her daughters Brenda and Rhonda, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date. Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool has arrangements.
