Linda Magnanti, 60, of Campbell Road, Mattydale, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at St. Joseph's Health Care Center. Linda grew up in the Camillus area and was a graduate of West Genesee High School.
She worked at First Fortis and Metropolitan Life Insurance Cos. for many years and for a few years with P&C grocery. Linda enjoyed playing bingo and making jewelry items. She was an avid fan of the Syracuse Orange and the NY Yankees. She enjoyed cooking and making gingerbread houses. Linda was a Loving, selfless person who always put everyone else first.
Surviving is her husband of 9 years, Gerald L. Magnanti; two children Charles (Kim) Trudell of Solvay and Patricia Trudell of Ogdensburg; two step-children: Donald (Theresa DiCocci) Magnanti of Clifton Park and Gina (Bethany Dyer) Magnanti of Mattydale; her twin sister Louise (Arnold) Bishop of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Joseph St. Pierre, of Camden; a sister, Ruth Ann Brown, of Syracuse; a foster sister, Tara Ryan, of Camillus; her mother and father-in-law, Erma and Edward Magnanti; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Deborah Cain; many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
