Fred Lee White, Jr., 59, died of natural causes while visiting a friend on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012. He was born on Jan. 25, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in Upstate New York. Fred graduated from Central Square High School in 1971 and was a letterman of the 11th ranked high school football team.
Fred Served in the Air Force from 1971-1975 achieving the rank of master sergeant. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1979. Fred was a dedicated career pharmacist from the moment he graduated from UGA. He also was an avid football supporter of the UGA Georgia Bulldogs. As a private pilot, Fred adored exploring the skies and often admitted that he’d “rather be flying.”
He is survived by a son, Fred Lee White, III (Trey) of Dublin, GA; a daughter, Andrea Leigh White of Charlotte, NC; their mother, Dollie Suits of Flagler Beach, FL; his mother, Beverly Barry Klotz; stepfather, Kenneth Klotz of Baldwinsville, NY; his brother, Harold Lee White of Denver, NC; his nieces, Stephanie Lee White and Samantha Lee White of Charlotte, NC; his nephew Raymond Lee White Jr. of Syracuse, NY; and Tommy Woodson, who was like a son to him.
