Anne Dolores Bailey Dudley, 80, of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. Born in Syracuse on May 26, 1931, she was a graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School. Residing in the town of Manlius, she worked for 25 years in the International Division at Bristol Myers Squibb until her retirement in 1992. She attended St. Matthew’s Church in East Syracuse and St. Pius X Church in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. She was especially proud of her seven daughters and their accomplishments. Most of all she loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and making hats for her family, stained glass design, being near the water and camping. Anne loved sharing her family recipes, making jellies and chili sauce as well as cooking.
She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Beecher.
Survivors: Seven daughters, Martha Kearns of Washington, D.C., Elaine Rores of Syracuse, Mary Dudley-Mills of Syracuse, Jane Dudley-Kobrin of Penfield, N.Y., Alice (Daniel) Huffman of Gulfport, MS, Teresa (Douglas) McCarron of Lanoka Harbor, N.J. and Kathleen (David) Locandro of Forked River, N.J.; four sisters, Mary Thayer of Elbridge, N.Y., Joan Cronin of Syracuse, NY, Susan Bailey of Manlius and Kathleen Lovell of St. John’s, FL; two brothers, William Bailey of San Antonia, TX and Robert Bailey of Carolina Shores, NC; as well as 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Matthews Church, 229 West Yates St, East Syracuse with a private burial for the family following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
