David C. Stellmack

David C. Stellmack, 47, of Auburn, after a courageous battle with cancer, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at home, surrounded by his family. He was a lifetime resident of Central New York. Born in Syracuse on Wednesday, June 10, 1964, he graduated from Onondaga Central High School and ITT Technical Institute.
David was an Air Force veteran. He was a proud member of the ComDoc team in Syracuse for 10 years. A member of The Vineyard Church, he was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved the water, especially the St. Lawrence and Skaneateles Lake. He enjoyed remote control planes and John Deere tractors. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them.
David was predeceased by his grandfather, Joseph Stellmack; stepfather, James Anderson; brother, Marc Stellmack; and nephew, Jacob Bauer.
Surviving are his wife of 11 years, the former Diane Renee Perry and daughters, Erin and Abbie Stellmack, all of Auburn; mother, Joan Anderson of Marietta; father, Joseph Stellmack Jr. of Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Lisa Stellmack, Joseph and Debbie Stellmack, John and Kathy Bauer and James and Tanya Bauer; grandmother, Maria Stellmack of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends called from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Pastor John Elmer celebrated a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan, 29 in The Vineyard Church, 312 Lakeside Rd. Lakeland.
