Raymond J. Przbuski

Raymond J. Przbuski, 95, of Weedsport, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Jordan, Ray was the son of Stanley and Anna Semlick Przbuski. He was a life resident of the Jordan-Weedsport area. He was predeceased by his wives Arlene and Genevieve and special friend Vinnie also by his sister Helen and brothers Leo, Walt, Sam and George.
Ray was formerly employed by the village of Jordan, NYC Railroad, Camillus Cutlery and for several years by the Bush Funeral Home.
For two years 1938-1939, Ray served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and he was a member of CCC Alumni.
Ray joined the Jordan Fire Department in 1937 and was a 75 year member and a past president. He was also a member of the Northern Central Volunteer Firemen’s Association and the Onondaga County Volunteer Fire Fighters Association. Ray belonged to the Jordan Old Boys and the Jordan Historical Society.
Surviving are a niece Ann Marie Rosetti with whom he resided and several nephews.
Mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. The Rite of Committal and burial will be in Weedsport Rural Cemetery.
