Keith A. VanDenburg

Keith A. VanDenburg, 73, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday Sept. 12, 2011, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Cortland, he was a graduate of Homer Central High School and attended Alfred State. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was with the NAVY Reserves in Mattydale. He retired in 1992 from General Electric as an electronics specialist. He was a past member of the Syracuse Kennel Club and SOTC.
Keith is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce; sons, Kirk (Gina) VanDenburg of Liverpool and Tyler VanDenburg of Newark, NY; daughter, Lisa (Eric) Turcotte of Liverpool; brother, Niles VanDenburg of VA; sister, Janice (David) Keitz of Florida; grandchildren, MaryGrace and Iain VanDenburg and Remy Turcotte; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the VanDenburg Family for a Memorial Bench at Wegman’s Good Dog Park at Long Branch Park.
