Wilbur A. Sensinger

Wilbur A. Sensinger, 93, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday Aug. 29, 2011, at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. Born in Lehighton, PA, Mr. Sensinger has resided in Baldwinsville for the past 71 years. He graduated from Penn State University in 1940 receiving his bachelor’s degree in engineering. Mr. Sensinger worked for Crouse Hinds as an electrical engineer retiring in 1980 after 40 years of employment. Wilbur had a love for woodworking and took great pride in designing items for family, friends, and his church. He also enjoyed being outside spending time tending to his garden. Mr. Sensinger was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Liverpool. He is predeceased by a sister Medelna Houseknecht and a brother Marcus Sensinger.
Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Helen K. (Klink) Sensinger of Baldwinsville, a son David C. (Patricia) Sensinger of Liverpool, a daughter, Gail S. (William) Collins of Oneida, two grandsons, Jonathon and Daniel, granddaughter, Audrey and three great-granddaughters. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 6 in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery.
