Fanny D. Reynolds, 90, of Skaneateles died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011. Born in Buffalo, she was predeceased by her husband Allan and her sister, Eleanor Adaszak. Surviving are her daughters, Renee (John) Botti, of Auburn, Amy (John) Hughes of Rochester, grandchildren, Christopher (JoAnna) Botti, Alison (Bruce) Walker, Andrew Botti and Evan Hughes, great-grandchildren, Samantha, Kylie and Adelyn Walker.
Fanny loved having family and friends gather at her Skaneateles home. This time of year she would await the landing of the Snow Geese on the pristine waters. She was an avid bridge player, gourmet cook, exceptional hostess, gardener, supporter of theater and the Syracuse Symphony, and creator of hundreds of needlework samplers, that are now cherished heirlooms adorning the homes of her children.
A celebration of her life was held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home 49 Jordan St. Skaneateles and at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
