Harry J. Pucino, 84, of Jordan, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Born in Port Byron, Harry lived most of his life in the Jordan area. He was a 1945 graduate of Jordan High School and he served in the Navy following graduation. For 49 years, he was the owner of Harry’s Service Station in Jordan. Harry was a communicant and former usher at St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. He was a long time member of the Msgr. Meaney Council of the Knights of Columbus. Harry loved gardening and he was an avid Yankees fan.
His wife of 57 years, the former Mary Evangelista, died Oct. 27th.
Surviving are his three sons, Larry (Liz) of Apopka, Fl., David (Christine) of Plainville, and Steven of Jordan, two brothers Tony of Mattydale and Sam of Brooksville, Fl., and a sister Margaret Ziemba of Fairmount, a granddaughter Elizabeth, several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in St. Patrick’s Church. Private burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
