Avis V. Fuller

Avis Viola Fuller turned 99 on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, enjoying many happy celebrations with family and friends. She died on Thursday, Oct. 27, at Oswego Hospital following a fall a Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego, where she had been a resident for over four years. Avis was born in the Town of Clay, to her late parents, William W. and Minnie E. (Battles) Thompson. She is also predeceased by her husband Lewis Fuller on Aug. 17, 1990.
Avis retired from Lipe-Rollway Corp., Syracuse, in 1972. Avis was a very active Christian lady, and enjoyed her Bible study classes. When residing in Baldwinsville, she attended the Community Wesleyan Church. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Dottie Larkin of Barefoot Bay, FL; a dear friend, Marie Valerino of Liverpool; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Calling hours: noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, NY 13135, with the funeral service at 2 p.m. same day, in the funeral home, 431 Main St.., with the Rev. Susan Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd., Clay, NY 13041.
