Charles Vitello, 85, of Baldwinsville, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, after a long illness.
Mr. Vitello served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a long time truck driver/business owner until retirement. He also worked for Avis Car Rental as a Shuttler until he retired a second time.
Mr. Vitello is predeceased by his wife, Pauline, on June 10, 2011, after 57 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter Mary (Joseph) Burns; son Charles (Laura) Vitello; grandsons Christopher (Amberlynn Fleischman) Vitello and Bryan (Shannon Reite) Vitello; great grandson Bryson Reite-Vitello, all of Constantia; and sister Rose (Louis) Bonacci of Queen Side, CA.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square. Calling Hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at the funeral home. Burial in Veteran’s Cemetery following the service. Please visit traubfh.com for on-line guest book.
