Colleen E. (Armstrong-Moslander) Gabilanes, 41, died on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at home after a brave fight against cancer.
Mrs. Gabilanes was raised in Cicero. She was a member and captain of the Northstars Dance Ensemble at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. She graduated in 1988 and then received her bachelor’s degree with honors from West Chester University in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Gabilanes had a 16-year career with Accenture in Florham Park, N.J., as a manager of the human resources department. She was a member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood, and was a strong and devoted mother to her twin sons, AJ and Connor, and her husband, Jeff.
Mrs. Gabilanes was predeceased by her sister, Jamie Welch (2009), and her parents, Walter and Sandra (Homan) Moslander. Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Jeff, and twin sons, Anthony Jr. and Connor. She is also survived by her siblings, Melissa McCurry of Pasadena, Calif., and Robin Griffin and her husband, Dan, of Liverpool, N.Y., Ed Moslander of New York City, Todd Moslander of Albany, N.Y., and Sue Ellen Argy and David Moslander, both of Syracuse, and her maternal grandmother, Florence Homan. Mrs. Gabilanes will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalidescope of Hope Foundation, P.O.
