Sister M. Prudentia Ladiski

Sister M. Prudentia Ladiski, 97, passed away on Saturday Aug. 27, 2011, at Jolenta Convent. She was born in St. John’s Michigan to Stephen and Martha Kostolni Ladinski. She was a Sister of St. Francis for 80 years. She received her education from Pius School of Liturgical Music at Manhattenville College of Sacred Heart in New York City. She also attended the College of St. Rose in Albany.
Sister held administrative positions in the Community for many years, served as principal and teacher in schools in New York, New Jersey and Ohio States.
She will be remembered for her years of devoted service to her community and for her enthusiasm, energetic spirit, prayerfulness, charity, quick spontaneous laughter, love for her children and for being a friend to so many of their parents.
Sister was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Ellen and Martha. She is survived by one sister Frances and by her Sister of St. Francis.
A mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. on Tuesday Aug. 30 at St. Anthony Convent. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9:00 to 10:45 am in the Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Francis Development Office, 1118 Court Street, Suite # 32, Syracuse, N.Y.
