Floyd N. Warner, Sr., 79, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday Aug. 18, 2007 at Crouse Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on March 19, 1932 to Raymond & Mabel Warner, Floyd was always intrigued by nature and wildlife. He took in and cared for “not your average” pets. He loved watching the birds and animals in his back yard and in his younger years would draw pictures of wildlife. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing and traveling to Canada and North Carolina. After 35 years, Floyd retired in 1995 from Church & Dwight.
Floyd was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Sonny & Bobby and his sisters Evelyn Turner and Betty Lamson. He was also predeceased by his son, Floyd Jr., in September 2002.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Barbara (Sauve), his sons James (Sherri) of Phoenix, Scott (Cindy) and Wayne of Fulton, his daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Warner of Phoenix and sister, Anne “Shirley” Phelps of Lincolnton, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 23 at Gates Funeral Home in Baldwinsville, N.Y. from 4-6 p.m. with services immediately following.
