Anna M. Petrocci
June 29, 1918 - August 13, 2011
Anna M. Petrocci, 93, of Camillus, passed away Saturday Aug. 13, 2011, at Loretto. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was born on Saturday, June 29, 1918 and was the daughter of Joseph and Genevena Cangemi. She retired from the Camillus Cutlery.
Anna was a hard worker with her husband, Nicholas on their family farm. She was a great cook and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Petrocci Jr. on January 10, 2008; and brothers, James, Sam and Anthony Cangemi.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Larry Moloff of DeWitt and, Connie and Richard Babcock and Nicki Petrocci McCarthy and Scott Warburton, all of Camillus; sister, Stella Silino of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends called from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 16 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Art Magnuson officiating.
Anna was laid to rest in Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners.
