Silent auction and dinner to be held to support F-M Relay

— The Fayetteville Manlius Community Relay for Life is quickly approaching. Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 31, Relay is a team walk, where team members alternate walking the track throughout the event in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event will be held at the F-M High School track, and will feature Hot 107.9 along with local bands playing throughout the afternoon and evening.

Simultaneously, the high school will be holding a community carnival, complete with bounce houses, children’s games, face painting and much more. Food will be available for purchase as well. A photographer and videographer will be on site throughout the event to document everything going on.

Proceeds from all activities will support the American Cancer Society. It is not too late to sign a team up today. To register, join a team or start your own team, visit: relayforlife.org/fayettevillemanliusny or contact the event chair, Ben Gnacik, at bgnacik@fmschools.org.

Prior to the event, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on May 20, there will be a silent auction with dinner and dessert at the Cavalry Club in Manlius. Items available include dining certificates, rounds of golf at most local courses, art, services, sports memorabilia and much more. Advanced ticket sales are available through Friday, May 16, and cost $30 per person. Contact Gnacik at bgnacik@fmschools.org to reserve tickets. If space is still available, tickets are also available at the door for $40 per person.
