Cazenovia The world’s largest newsstand, called Zinio, is now available at the Cazenovia Public Library.
People who love magazines can now enjoy the complete digital editions of their favorites — many of which are only available in this format. With Zinio, readers can find the stories they want to read quickly and easily with an intuitive navigation and all-inclusive keyword search.
Unlimited access to Mid-York’s entire collection of digital magazines is available, and anyone can check out as many as they want. Currently more than 50 titles are available and more will be added as any of the 42 libraries in the Mid-York Library System adds titles. The Economist, Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart Living, and National Geographic are just a few of the popular titles available.
Readers will also be able to enjoy their magazines anytime, anywhere — either on a PC or Mac or on a mobile device. Apps are available as well for iPad, iPhone, Kindle Fire and Android.
Zinio is easy to use and the instructions at midyork.org will guide patrons through the downloading process. In addition, staff member Elisha Davies will conduct two classes in the library community room — 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7. Bring devices and questions.
