Bovee and Stevens offer congratulations to their fellow friend on a long and successful career in Baldwinsville.
“Pete Fiorini’s dedication to lacrosse in Baldwinsville is remarkable,” Stevens said. “I played in high school with his older brother John and now I get to be a fellow coach and player with Pete in our master’s league. I can remember before every match having a big spaghetti dinner with the whole team at the Fiorini’s house. Being on the team was being part of a big family and I am really proud of Pete and my lacrosse family.”
Fiorini and his former classmates will meet up again in Lake Placid this year for a northeast master tournament. Bovee and Stevens will also be participating in the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Denver, Colo. this coming July.
