Police alert residents to lock cars

The Village of Baldwinsville Police Department has reported that there have been recent overnight auto break ins on the south side of the village. In both occurrences, the vehicles were unlocked.

"We encourage all residents not to leave valuables in their vehicles and to always lock their vehicles when they are parked in driveways or parking lots," said Chief Michael Lefancheck.

The police are currently investigating these thefts. If anyone has any information, Lefancheck asks that you contact the police department at 635-3131.
