continued Solvay saw Danielle Leonardo finish fourth (10.17 seconds) and Angela Frateschi fifth (10.20 seconds) in the 55-meter hurdles, with the Mustangs’ Haley Randall sixth. Nicole Antonacci took sixth place in the long jump.
West Genesee, even without Laura Leff in the fold (she was getting ready for Saturday’s Millrose Games), finished fourth in the six-team CNY Counties League National division meet with 59 points as Fayetteville-Manlius won with 150 points.
Brianna Richardson was victorious in the 55 hurdles in 8.98 seconds, edging past F-M’s Christina Ezidiegwu (9.10 seconds). She was also second in the triple jump with 34’9” behind Cicero-North Syracuse’s Javielle Fanizzi (35’1”) and third in the long jump (15’3 ¾”).
Abby Uczen, clearing 9’6”, won the pole vault, with no other competitor getting closer than two feet (7’6”) to her. Eighth-grader Carly Benson stood up in the 1,500 and got second place in 4:57.39 behind F-M’s Alana Pearl (4:50.72).
Benson, teaming with Elise Dunshee, Maria Matkoski and Lindsay Weaver, got to third in the 4x800 in 10:21.17 as the Wildcats were also fourth (4:27.32) in the 4x400. Dunshee took fifth place in the 3,000 in 11:22.60. Allison Iles, who ran a leg in the 4x200 and another leg in the 4x200, where WG was fifth (1:59.74), finished sixth in the 300 sprint.
For Jordan-Elbridge, who earned 29 points in the OHSL Division 2 meet, Abby Gugel, Julie Hines, Madi Hatt and Emily Weichert got to third place in the 4x400 in 4:43.03.
Hines added a third-place finish in the 300 in 43.05 seconds and was sixth in the 55 sprint. Mary Elizabeth Dristle, in 1:53 flat, got fourth place in the 600 as Lauren Hubbs was sixth in the 1,000 and Weichert sixth in the 55 hurdles.
Dristle, Hubbs, Antonia Malvaso and Miranda Malvaso were third in the 4x800 in 11:42.37, with Hatt, Emily Mills, Alexis Malvaso and Marissa Malvaso fourth in the 4x200.
