“SKARTS launched Creative Conversations last year to feature local artists and thought leaders in our community and create awareness of how art affects us all,” says Holland Gregg, the organization’s president. “Each program features a thought-leader moderator conversing with an artist, musician, performer or writer. More than 90 people attended our first Creative Conversations, and we expect this event will be equally successful and thought provoking.”
The Loft at 42 Genesee St. is owned by Dr. Robert Kiltz and was recently renovated to include five levels of meeting and living space. The space features architectural lighting, original brick walls and a glass elevator. The event will use two levels of the structure. Hors d’oeuvres will be served on the street level and the presentation will be held on the lake level, one floor down.
Sponsors include Dr. Robert Kiltz, The Loft at 42 Genesee St., Patience Brewster Inc., Group M Communications and Skaneateles Talk. Coville and Brewster have graciously contributed their time to the event, as have other local groups and individuals.
Tickets may be purchased for $25 at skarts.org/tickets/. Attendance is limited and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are requested by Feb. 24.
