Project Café holding clothing and shoe drive during February

— Students in Project Café are holding a clothing and footwear drive during the month of February to help members of the Cazenovia community and less fortunate people in Haiti.

The CazCares clothing drive seeks all gently used, unwanted and clean clothing that will be given to homeless and low income families, particularly warm clothes and coats for cold weather and formal clothes (to attend job interviews).

The Shoes for Haiti drive seeks all gently used, unwanted footwear (with no holes) that will be taken to Haiti and given to less fortunate people who may have no shoes at all. If you’ve outgrown a pair of shoes or they have gone out of style, instead of throwing them out give them away to someone who truly needs them.

All clothing and footwear donations may be dropped off in the boxes at Common Grounds at Dave’s Diner or at 15 Sullivan St. directly behind Farber Hall. For more information contact Nia Williams at nwilliams@cazenovia.edu or Brittany Whitehouse atbewhitehouse@cazenovia.edu.
