Village to hold public input session on proposed Creekside district redevelopment

— The village will conduct a public input session as part of the planning process for the Creekside Planned Development District at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the village offices, located at 90 Albany St.

At the village board’s June 2 meeting, the board hired Dan Kwasnowski/Applied Planning to assist with the analysis of the Riverside Drive/Chittenango Creek corridor behind the Cazenovia Public Library for potential redevelopment.

A meeting was held on Thursday, June 19, for Kwasnowski to receive initial public input on the area from neighbors and other stakeholders. He made an initial presentation of his research and analysis to the board and public at the July 7 board meeting.

His draft report will be published on the village website, at the bottom of the “Planning and Zoning” page, during the week of Aug. 19. He will seek public input and feedback on his draft report at the Aug. 26 meeting.
