Liverpool LETTER: Thanks to those who helped with golf tournament
To the editor:
On July 19, the fourth annual Jenni-Lyn Watson Memorial Golf Tournament was held to raise money for the Jenni-Lyn Watson Memorial Scholarship Fund. We feel the tournament was a success and want to thank all who supported it.
The reason for this success is the character of all who participated, which is caring, supporting, sharing, giving and laughter. All who were involved clearly represented the spirit of Jenni-Lyn.
To our loyal sponsors we are especially grateful. Thank you to those who donated items. We can’t thank enough the volunteers who without them the tournament would not be a success. Thank you to our hosts Jim and Sue Nobles and your staff at Foxfire, Chris and Mike and your staff at Pasta’s on the Green and Brad Patterson, the pro at Foxfire. To the golfers, your enthusiasm and laughter creates such an enjoyable tournament, thank you!
We especially want to thank the board of directors of the tournament, Nick and Judy Campitello, Karen Fratianni, Deb and Jim Prusinowski and Chris Wilson. Your energy, support, hard work, team effort and care have made this tournament a success.
We thank all of you for participating and for the respect and dignity you have accorded us and our family. To all of you we can’t put into words what your unselfishness, love, laughter, prayers and support has meant to us these past four years. What you have done continues to strengthen us — thank you!
God’s love, peace and strength to all.
DAVID, JACKIE AND LAUREN WATSON
