LETTER: Town board ‘not interested’ in bond savings

Why is there such a significant lack of public discussion on matters of this significance by our town board at its meetings?

Why is there no record of the receipt of correspondence from Fiscal Advisors and numerous village communications at town board meetings regarding this matter?

The town board sued the Skaneateles Recreational Charitable Trust over equipment with an alleged value of $150,000. Recently, Supervisor Roney was quoted saying “meetings never transpired” and “that’s not nothing (the $165,000 savings), but at the same time I don’t think it’s as significant some people are trying to portray.” Why was the SRCT amount considered significant and the bond issue not?
