LETTER: Greenfield asks for support

To the editor:

For the past six years I have had the privilege to serve my community on the town board. I have been deputy supervisor for the last four years and it has been an honor to lead town government. We have worked on many crucial issues and I am ready and excited to lead the town as supervisor. I entered public service because I love this community where I built my home, business and raised a family. Many of the problems and situations we face in our town operation I have already dealt with in my large successful farming business. I pride myself at being available and accessible to answer calls, meet with residents and listen to your concerns. I am known to not only listen to your problems but reach out and find solutions. My vision for the future is maintaining a high level of services while reducing spending, improving infrastructure of the town water supply, effective zoning, protecting the lake and saving for the future. As my father was fond of saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

I ran for office to be an advocate for all Skaneateles residents and for the past six years have done just that. We need strong leadership to continue the progress we have made.

I appreciate the support you have shown me over the last six years and humbly ask for your vote on Nov. 5. Thank you.

Jim “Skinny” Greenfield
