To the editor:
On Nov. 5, Cazenovia voters will go to the polls to elect candidates for supreme court justice for the 6th Judicial District, as well as candidates for Madison County clerk and sheriff, Cazenovia town supervisor, town clerk, town justice and town council. In addition, voters will find six statewide ballot proposals and two town ballot proposals, on which they must decide for or against.
The League of Women Voters of Cazenovia will hold a candidate night at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the community room of the Cazenovia Public Library, 100 Albany St. The public is invited to come to hear from the candidates for office. There will also be a panel discussing the town ballot proposals having to do with changing the term of office of the Supervisor and changing the office of town clerk from elected to appointive.
Refreshments will be served. We hope that voters will come, bring their friends, and learn about the people and issues on the ballot this November.
