North Syracuse LETTER: Letter carrier makes Halloween special
To the editor:
Yes, Halloween is over, but our gratitude and appreciation for our mail carrier will live on. We have a young lady who faithfully delivers mail in our Pitcher Hill community. On her own time, she puts together treat bags for more than 140 children. I must add, no candy. This is Lori Clarks’ fourth year. She really enjoys what she is doing.
Lori is showing her appreciation for our close-knit community at Pitcher Hill, a community she’s been serving for the last 13 years. She has grown fond of the many children on her route. I’m sure the feeling is mutual. This makes her feel great and feels it’s good therapy for her acute migraine condition.
I’m sure I speak for all the families she serves. We all thank her and wish her good health and happiness.
Just can’t wait. Less than a year until Halloween 2014.
“MAYOR” OF PITCHER HILL
