Cazenovia College to offer program on ‘QuickBooks for the Equine Business Owner’

— QuickBooks seems to be one of the fastest growing uses in the agricultural industry. It’s easy to use, to understand and has the support of many through blogs and the software companies’ own tutorials. With a little guidance on how to set up the business for your needs, you are well on your way to generating information for planning the growth of your business, having timely income tax returns prepared and having information to compare for benchmarking.

Cazenovia College and Cornell Cooperative Extension will offer a program on “Quick Books for the Equine Business Owner,” presented by Amy Sherrick-von Schiller, associate professor of equine business management at Cazenovia College and Bonnie S. Collins, farm business management resource educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County, from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Cazenovia College’s Equine Education Center, Woodfield Road.

Refreshments will be served. Cost is $10. Pre-registration is appreciated by Wednesday, Nov. 27.
