Incumbent Ed Theobald beat Mark Tetley for the town supervisor position on Nov. 5. He'll be starting his third term as supervisor in Jan. 2014
continued Theobald said that while he enjoys going out on the campaign trail, he’s excited to go back to his main job – overseeing the town.
“It’s not always peaches and cream when you’re out talking to people, and that’s okay, because I’m in the same boat” he said. “I’m a resident, and I have my concerns too. I enjoy the campaigning, but once I get all that information from residents, now I can go back and say to the board, ‘There are some issues we need to address.’ And that’s what I plan to do.”
Running unopposed for town board were incumbent Republican councilors Karen Green, David Marnell, Vince Giordano and Jason Cassalia. Incumbent town clerk Allison Edsall, town justice Bob O’Leary, highway superintendent Robert Cushing and receiver of taxes Laura Peschel also picked up wins and will start their next term in January.
