To the editor,
The Citizens to Preserve the Character of Skaneateles (CPCS) would like to thank all of the candidates who ran for town government in the recent election season.
Jim Greenfield, Mary Sennett, Connie Brace, Claire Robinson Howard, Rick Keyes and Steve McGlynn clearly demonstrated their sincere commitment to this community and for that we residents are truly grateful.
We know that those who ran unopposed — Janet Aaron, Lori Milne and Alan Wellington — will continue to provide their invaluable experience and expertise to the town.
It was inspiring to see so many people become genuinely engaged in the process and we hope this engagement will continue long after Election Day.
And although we may not all agree, we do know we will always be a part of something truly great — the amazing community of Skaneateles.
Thank you, candidates, for subjecting yourselves to the arduous process on our behalf.
