Looking for a job is tougher than ever, but this class will show you what you need to do to find a summer job. Includes approaching places you want to work, applying for positions online, interviewing for a job and creating a resume, cover letter and list of references. The class, held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the computer classroom, is designed for students but open to other job seekers. Registration is required.
Hanging plant basket
Make more room for greenery from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, as Sandee of Cherished Baskets will provide instruction and materials for you to make a hanging plant basket (measures about 6”x9”x6”), which is woven on a wooden base. Just put a plant and planter in it and you have instantly added a different look to your plant. A $31 materials fee will be collected at the class and registration is required.
Wiring with Wendy
Join us from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18, when Wendy of wendyballarddesign.com will teach you to make a pendant necklace from wire and beads. There is a $15 materials fee payable in class and registration is required.

From office to ornamental, scrapbooks to stationery, you can make beautiful paper art under the guidance of Missy Shipman. There is a $20 materials fee for materials you will get to keep and registration is required.

From 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, Todd Goldthwait of Iron Horse Solutions, a car repair shop in Fulton, will help you learn what every driver should know about repair and maintenance of your car.
