Current codes inspector Debbie Williams will be retiring at the end of 2013.
--The board discussed the renewal of its contract with Onondaga County Sheriffs to provide lake patrol service for Skaneateles Lake. The estimated bill for last year’s patrol is $8,464 which includes about 220 man hours plus insurance, gas and maintenance costs. The town had asked the sheriffs to reduce man hours last year after paying $15,000 for the service the year before, Roney said.
Since the current budget only allots $5,300 for lake patrol services, the town wants to put a cap on man hours or request that the lake only be patrolled during certain events this year, to limit the cost.
