— On a recent Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Jerome's Kindergarten Booster class visited the Pizza Hut on Downer Street.

Manager Rick Connor orchestrated a tour of the facility and did an age appropriate lesson on pizza making with the children.

"I could not have been more impressed with his lesson," said Preschool Director Terri Ferrigan. "Mr. Connor came in on his day off to work with our children and we were very appreciative. He had a wonderful presentation prepared and really knew how to communicate with our young learners."

The children each made their own personal pan pizzas and enjoyed their delicious creations with classmates and teachers at a large table in the restaurant. Kindergarten Boosters is a class comprised of children who attend AM Kindergarten in the Baldwinsville Central School District.

Mrs. Jerome, the lead teacher, describes her class as an opportunity to expand upon the kindergarten curriculum as well as a chance to have some extra fun.
