B’ville track sides fall to Liverpool

Both teams get wins at high-profile weekend meets

Miller made her way to second place in the 1,500-meter run in 4:55.01, trailing only Marcellus’ Rachel Garn (4:52.01), who would also beat Mackenzie Ross in an 800-meter showdown, Ross finishing in 2:17.70 as Garn, in 2:14.99, posted the fastest time of the spring in Section III.

Marissa Lahtrop tied Bethlehem’s Carolyn Wagner for fifth (1:00.96) in the 400 sprint and Meghan Hull got sixth in the 2,000-meter steeplechase, with Emily Thompson sixth in the 3,000-meter run. The Bees took fifth in the 4x800 relay as Vasteno, on her own, was fifth (13.48 seconds) in the 100 sprint and Hannah Wood was sixth in the 100 hurdles in 17.79 seconds.

Soeder, again clearing 5 feet, was fourth in the high jump, while Carlie McNamara went 92’5” for fifth place in the discus. Melissa Voyer was eighth in the long jump.
