CBA girls lacrosse roars past ESM

Brothers aim for successful move up to Class B ranks

— Cook finished with four goals, Poplawski had with three goals and an assist and Perla contributed two goals and two assists.

CBA next travels to Whitesboro on Tuesday, a day after ESM makes up the snowed-out game against those same Warriors. The Spartans visit Jamesville-DeWitt next Saturday.

J-D’s girls, unable to take the field for a practice or scrimmage before last Tuesday’s game at Cicero-North Syracuse, struggled in that opener, falling 18-6 to the Northstars.

What was a 1-1 tie broke open when C-NS scored three goals in a span of 1:11 midway through the first half. Trailing 7-1, the Rams got a goal by Sam McKenna just before halftime, only to see the Northstars run away in the second half, overcoming four goals from Taylor Fallon.
