To the editor:
Here at the library, acts of generosity and thoughtfulness happen on a regular basis, and all of them are gratefully accepted and appreciated.
A recent donation, however, deserves some special recognition. On March 6, a young boy anonymously donated a box of children’s books and videos that apparently came from his personal collection. On March 7, he left us a note, again anonymously, saying, “The children’s books and videos that were dropped off yesterday were donated in honor of Daniel Bardon who was killed in the Connecticut shootings.”
How wonderful is that! And to this young boy — from all of us here at the Cazenovia Public Library — just let me say a heartfelt thank you for your kindness and sacrifice.
