— Who will be named the outstanding man and woman volunteers for 2012? Find out Saturday, April 20, during the annual Volunteers of the Year Awards event hosted by the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center.

This year’s event will begin with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m. at the Clarion Inn on Farrell Road followed by the 6 p.m. awards ceremony and buffet dinner.

While the BVC has had a presence here in the Baldwinsville community for nearly 50 years, 2013 marks its 15th anniversary of becoming an independent, non-profit agency. To help mark the occasion, special guest speaker Mark Baker will emcee the event and new this year, the John Lerner Band will provide entertainment until 11 p.m. for participants’ enjoyment.

The event is $28 per person; reservations are required by April 12. Please mail your check payable to the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center at 44 Oswego St., Baldwinsville, or stop by between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays.
