Baldwinsville The pre-k class at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool, which is now accepting registrations for the pre-k class for the 2013-14 school year, is a unique class for children who will turn 5 in the late summer or fall, but are not ready for kindergarten. Children with December birthdays, who miss the cut-off date for kindergarten, are also welcome in this class, which is small with 16 children, a teacher and a teacher assistant. This allows the teachers to spend quality time with the children, assessing each child and learning his or her individual learning style and developmental level. The teachers form a learning plan for each child designed to help them reach the next level in all areas of development. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool follows the NYS Prekindergarten Learning Standards and the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
