From office to ornamental, scrapbooks to stationery, you can make beautiful paper art under the guidance of Missy Shipman. There is a $20 materials fee for materials you will get to keep; registration is required.

Microsoft Excel

You asked for it so we brought it back. Sign up now for this free, hands-on course on the leading office spreadsheet software from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 19. In this course, students create and edit basic Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets and workbooks. The class is free but registration is required and limited to 10 participants.

‘Tortilla Curtain’

Join in on the conversation on a timely title focused on the interactions of an illegal immigrant family and the residents of a nearby gated community at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, as the group discusses “Tortilla Curtain,” by T. Coraghessan Boyle. This book is the CNY Reads choice for 2013. Refreshments will be served, and new members are always welcome.
