Optimists announce March Student of the Month

— Mr. Jeremy Hollenbeck, Norton’s guidance counselor, praised him for his upbeat personality, which enables him to meet the demands of balancing academics and extra-curricular activities.

“No matter what Jacob has on his plate, his level-headed nature and good sense of humor remain constant,” Hollenbeck said. “He is a very grounded, accepting and personable individual whose modest demeanor has earned him the admiration and respect of people from all walks of life.”

Norton plans to study business in college and is considering attending Drexel, The University of Pennsylvania or Notre Dame University.

Norton’s parents are Daniel and Kelly Norton and he has two older brothers, Timothy and Matthew, and a younger sister, Hannah.

The Student of the Month program is a cooperative venture of the Baldwinsville Optimist Club and the Guidance Department of Baker High School.
