A high school band covers Phish while students dance on
continued The theme for this year was “Keep calm and dance on,” and many students opted to buy pinnies with the slogan to wear to the event. Every student who attended received a free t- shirt and the five top fundraisers had the choice of an iPad mini, a $200 Wegman’s gift card, plane tickets, a 24 inch TV, or a laptop. This year’s top fundraiser was Connor Bell, who raised $2,500.01.
“This is the sixth year in a row that the school has raised over $100,000,” Hess said. “Over the past four years, it’s been amazing because of the economy. Any kind of large amount of money like that really shocks us.”
