Symphoria concert a success

To the editor:

As the chairperson for the free summer Symphoria concert, I would like to extend my sincerest thank you from myself, the summer concert committee and the entire Music Guild to all that attended last Thursday’s concert at Allyn Arena. It was a perfect summer evening to share with all of our friends and families from near and far. The music provided by Symphoria was amazing! Most of all, I would like to thank our generous supporters of this concert — the town of Skaneateles, the Skaneateles Rotary and TOPS Supermarkets. Without their help, this concert would not have been possible. We are fortunate that this annual Skaneateles tradition can continue because of them. Also, I would like to thank Skaneateles Town Square for the beautiful plants that decorated the concert “stage.” Year after year, they make the arena look spectacular. Once again, without the tireless efforts of Sue Greenfield Murphy, Gene LaForte and the Parks and Recreation department, setting up the arena would have been a challenge. I was so happy to see so many smiling faces at the conclusion of the concert. I feel very fortunate to have the support of the village of Skaneateles, our town board and all of our local organizations and businesses. I look forward to this event next year!
