Manlius police arrest level three sex offender outside of Pine Grove Middle School

— The town of Manlius Police Department arrested a level three sex offender, Terry Jandrew, 56, of 713, Lodi Street, Syracuse. At 8:36 a.m. on July 11, the police received a citizen complaint regarding Jandrew. He was seen in the area of Kirkville Road near the access road to Pine Grove Middle School.

Officers located Jandrew on the access road and he was taken into custody without incident and charged with exposure of a person and trespassing.

Jandrew had no contact with any children during this incident. He was arraigned in the Town of Manlius court, where he was release on his own recognizance with a return date of July 18 at 6 p.m. The East Syracuse Minoa School District was granted an order of protection stating Jandrew is not permitted on any district-owned properties.

The police want to remind the community that Level three sex offenders are deemed the most likely to re-offend and to visit the New York State Sex Offender Registry to check for registered sex offenders in your area.
